Michael Dehler Vice President of Technical Infrastructure

From floppy disks to hosted solutions (cloud computing), Michael Dehler has seen it all in his time at STRATA.  “The industry has changed so much,” said Dehler.  “We do a lot more today and the advances in technology have given us the ability to go in a lot of unique directions.”

Dehler, STRATA’s Vice President of Technical Infrastructure, has been with STRATA since 1995 and is responsible for the implementation and support of internal technical operations.  Dehler leads a six member team providing STRATA employees and clients with reliable systems critical to their daily work flow.

“What charges me up about STRATA is that employees are allowed to innovate and explore possibilities.  We are blessed with talented, motivated and responsible people.  That’s one reason STRATA is able to continue to be the leader in the industry.”

One of those areas that Dehler is leading is hosted solutions.  “Even in the last year, ‘hosted’ has taken off like a rocket.  It allows clients do their work and focus on their business and we worry about the technical backroom details.”

Speaking of keeping up, Dehler does plenty of that at home chasing his son, “Two year olds have a lot of energy and love to run.”  He also stays busy keeping up with his daughter’s discoveries.  “She is an amateur paleontologist,” Dehler said about his 8 year old daughter with a smile.  “She loves discovering ‘dinosaur’ bones in our backyard.”
